Browser permissions

NeuroAsessment Revision: 14 August 2026

Browser approval and consent to data processing are two different things. The browser settles the technical question of access; this document explains why the access is needed and what happens to the data afterwards.

The site uses exactly one browser capability — notifications. Nothing else is requested: no camera, no microphone, no Bluetooth, no location, no clipboard. The browser is not asked anything at page load — the explanatory dialog only records your answer.

Why the permission is requested

Capability Feature What is processed Storage and retention
Notifications A reminder to train in 25 minutes and a signal when a session ends. The subscription identifier issued by your browser. Kept until you revoke the subscription.

Sharing with third parties

Data obtained through this permission is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising or profiling.

Web analytics

Separately from browser permissions, the site runs visit statistics. The counters are not loaded until you agree: before your answer, not a single request goes to Yandex or Google and not a single cookie is set. Consent is requested by a banner at the bottom of the page on your first visit and stored locally (localStorage, key neuro-analytics-v1).

What it enables Who collects it What is processed
Visit statistics Yandex.Metrica (counter 108993684), Google Analytics (G-W27439MKQ4) Anonymised page views, referral source, device and browser type, approximate region.
Session recording and click map Yandex.Metrica Webvisor Mouse movement, clicks and scrolling on the site's pages. Off by default — enabled only by your own tick.

Declining breaks nothing: the site is fully usable without the counters. You can change your decision here:

Security

The site is served over HTTPS — without it the browser would not grant notification permission at all. The reminder itself lives in the open tab and is sent nowhere: the server knows nothing about it.

Your choice

Revoking the permission in your browser takes effect immediately and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

Change your choice

On your first visit the site shows this notice once. After that it does not appear again — your answer is kept in your own browser (localStorage, key neuro-consent-v1) and is sent nowhere. You can open the dialog again here:

Clearing the site's data in your browser also erases this choice — the dialog will then appear as on a first visit.

Consent

By pressing “Allow” you confirm that you understand: NeuroAsessment will gain access to the stated capability for the stated purpose; what data is processed, how long it is kept and with whom it is shared; and that the permission can be declined or revoked in your browser settings.
